Madrid brought together faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to highlight cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how education can strengthen coexistence.
In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora linked the Scientology initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
